Co-operating Societies Agreements CIFST has Co-operating Societies Agreements with: Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) of the United Kingdom Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST) These agreements allow for co-operation between the respective national bodies, as well as recognize their international responsibilities in food science and technology and the important role of the International Union of Food Science & Technology (IUFoST). Without in any way detracting from the role of IUFoST, or from the direct relationships that each Institute has with other national food science and technology bodies, the Institutes have agreed that there would be substantial merit in direct collaboration between them in matters of common interest and concern, on an equal and reciprocal basis.
